Start your day on the sand and soak up surf, sky and sun-spiration to reveal your inner radiance. Each week this class includes pranayama (breathwork) and guided meditation under the summer sky. We pause at the start of our day to enliven our senses and restore ourselves in and with nature, to then move forward with a renewed sense of peace. No yoga experience is necessary to benefit from this practice, which is a mat-based class with seated and reclined postures. If you would be more comfortable sitting in a beach chair, by all means please bring one to use for this class.
Central Avenue Beach is located one mile north of the intersection of Central Avenue and U.S. Highway 12 in the Indiana Dunes National Park. There is a large public parking lot, and all beach-goers need to purchase entry to the Indiana Dunes National Park (see Fees & Passes - Indiana Dunes National Park (U.S. National Park Service) (nps.gov) for details and to pay your entrance fee). You should display your National Park pass in your front windshield when parked in the Central Avenue Beach parking lot. I will be easy to locate on the beach for our class!
