Let’s take a seat together. Sit & Stretch chair yoga classes are especially designed for older adults (and anyone!) who would benefit from a gentle, low impact yoga class enjoyed from the comfort of a chair. By mindfully moving through a series of stretches and asanas (postures), we will increase flexibility and circulation, release physical tension, reduce stress, and promote overall wellbeing. Each Sit & Stretch class includes pranayama (breathwork) to cultivate connection to the breath and the body.
It is recommended that students wear comfortable clothing and sit in an armless chair on a flat/level surface to safely and fully benefit from these classes.
Classes are $7 and payment can be sent via Venmo to SandyPauseYoga. All classes are listed in central (DST) time.
