“A Festivus for the Rest of Us!” Virtual Vinyasa Class
December 23 marks Festivus, the annual made-up holiday that came to fame in a 1997 episode of “Seinfeld.” My husband and I hosted a Festivus party in Chicago for a few years, which included the traditional Airing of Grievances, Feats of Strength, and a plethora of small events that were deemed Festivus Miracles. We even have a Festivus pole. Join me for this all levels yoga class to flow through a series of asanas (postures) that will encourage an opening of our entire body, including our throat chakra which houses our power of expression. Festivus “theology” will be woven into the class to keep us coming back to our breath through laughter, and class will conclude with a luxurious savasana (resting pose) to cultivate self-care.
Classes are $15 and payment can be sent via Venmo to SandyPauseYoga. All classes are listed in central (CST) time.
