Sthira Sukham Asanam Saturday Sangha Yoga

“Sthira Sukham Asanam”Saturday Sangha Yoga

Central to yoga philosophy is a commitment to cultivate the qualities of sthira (steadiness) and sukha (ease) in our on-the-mat practice and off-the-mat lives.  In the yoga sutras of Indian sage Patanjali, Sthira-Sukham Asanam refers to our endeavor as yogis to “resolutely abide in a good space.”  This all levels  yoga class will include a sequence of asanas (postures) to foster a balance of sthira and sukha, as well as a brief meditation practice and a luxurious savasana at the end of class to cultivate self care.  By practicing together and sharing time on our mats and with our breath, we join a global community (sangha) of yogis.

Classes are $15 and payment can be sent via Venmo to SandyPauseYoga. All classes are listed in central (CST) time.
